The presentation ceremony of the new XIII volume of the book of "Medicinal plants of Turkmenistan" of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was organized

On October 13, 2021, the edition of the XIII volume of the book of "Medicinal plants of Turkmenistan" which presentation has taken place in the conference hall with the participation with the teacher’s staff and the students of the Turkmen State Architecture and the Construction institute.

The encyclopedic work of the President of Turkmenistan, the academician of the Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Hero Arkadag is designated for a wide range of readers, will be of great value to all citizens of the country and to the general public. The chapters of the new edition provides complete and thorough information about 120 medicinal plants which, is considered a valuable healing treasure of plant origin. Our national leader, in his wonderful new work notes: “More than 2,000 medicinal plants growing in the Turkmen land are used in the Turkmen folk medicine, more than 500 of which are considered endemic to the flora of Turkmenistan. Therefore, given the ancient traditions of the Turkmens in folk medicine related to the endemic medicinal plants of Turkmenistan, I consider them worthy of being included in the UNESCO World Heritage List” Our esteemed President said.

Of course, the publication of a new work of our esteemed President will be a great guide for each of us and will become a hand book in our daily lives. On the eve of the 26th anniversary of our Permanent Neutrality, the new XIII volume of the encyclopedic book "Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan" is dedicated to the Day of Health and Medical Workers of Turkmenistan. Endless applause was expressed in words of pride for his constant attention.
