Department of Graduate Studies

The training of scientific and pedagogical and scientific personnel in the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute is carried out through graduate school and doctoral studies of the institute.

On April 1, 2008, a post-graduate department was established at the former Turkmen Polytechnic Institute, and post-graduate and doctoral studies were opened in relevant specialties.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan dated May 25, 2012 No. PP6080 “On the establishment of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute” and Decree 12328 “On the tasks of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute”, the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute was closed and the Turkmen State Architectural and Construction Institute was established. On the basis of Order of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan No. 48 dated June 25, 2012, graduate school and doctoral studies of the former Turkmen Polytechnic Institute were closed on July 1, 2012, and graduate school and doctoral studies were formed at the newly created Turkmen State Architectural and Construction Institute.

At present, the postgraduate department of the Turkmen State of Architecture and Construction Institute is organizing work to determine the need for scientific and pedagogical and scientific workers on the basis of priority areas of science, is developing plans for admission of graduate students in the specialties, the procedure for conducting and passing post-graduate and candidate exams, provides a set of and effective work of examination teams.

The postgraduate department also oversees the development and implementation of its own curriculum for graduate and doctoral students, maintaining reports on scientific research and searches, prepares the necessary information and organizes a state of training of scientific personnel in the Academic Council of the Institute and the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
