“When Nowruz comes to the world, the universe finds its colors”

In honor of the 2026 motto, “Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan - the homeland of the purposeful winged horses” and the upcoming 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's sacred Independence, the Volunteer Center and the Department of Languages at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute organized a training seminar titled “When Nowruz comes to the world, the universe finds its colors”. The seminar aimed to provide high-level training for student volunteers in preparation for planned international events.

During the seminar, instructors and student volunteers delivered detailed presentations on the traditions of the National Spring Holiday — International Nowruz Day — including folk games, festive cuisine, and literary works of the Turkmen people. They noted that Nowruz traditions serve as a valuable treasure for exploring the history, literary heritage, and spiritual beauty of the nation. A presentation comparing Nowruz celebrations across Central Asian countries was particularly impactful. Furthermore, the volunteer students’ speeches in foreign languages and their recitations of holiday poetry left a lasting impression on all participants.
