Currently, the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute has 8 faculties and 28 departments, with 4,635 students studying in 10 fields and 34 specialties that meet the requirements of the time. The training of highly qualified bachelors is carried out in 13 areas within 7 educational programs. The institute trains specialists for state and private enterprises and organizations of Turkmenistan in specialized fields, annually graduating more than 759 higher education specialists.

A Masterpiece of Architectural Art: A Journey to the Seyitjemaletdin Monument

On the occasion of the year 2026 being declared “Independent neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses” and the planned international events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's sacred Independence, a field lesson titled “A Masterpiece of Architectural Art: A Journey to the Seyitjemaletdin Monument” was held. The event was organized by the Volunteers Center of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute together with the departments of “Architecture” and “Social Sciences” to prepare volunteer students at a high level, to learn the historical monuments located in our country, and to promote their significance. The event was also recorded by the Miras and TV-4 television channels. The field lesson held with volunteer students within the grounds of the sacred Seyitjemaletdin monument, which embodies valuable pages of history and culture, was very impressive. Providing education to the younger generation not only through books but also through practical lessons in historical places plays a special role in expanding their worldview. The speaking teachers gave detailed information about the Seyitjemaletdin Mosque being built in the 15th century and it being a wonderful example of architectural art. The legend told among the people about the Seyitjemaletdin Mosque left a great impression on the volunteer students. Additionally, our volunteer students had a great opportunity to study the unique architectural structure of the Seyitjemaletdin Mosque, its ceramic decorations, and historical finds on-site. The main goal of this field lesson is to increase the pride of volunteer students in our historical heritage and to improve their volunteer work. Today, we are not only studying history here; we are also working practically on how our volunteer students can tell our history interestingly to foreign guests and how to introduce historical places in English and other languages. Our volunteer students are a major force in introducing the historical and cultural riches of our country to the world in future international events. Young people who know their past, that is, their history, are young people who build a strong future. The teachers who spoke at this event emphasized that they work so that our volunteer students become not only theoretically educated specialists but also individuals who respect the past of their people. This field lesson was a moment that will stay in the memories of our volunteer students forever and give impetus to new scientific research. The fact that several volunteer students spoke about the Seyitjemaletdin monument with their own understanding in English and Russian on the TV-4 channel and on our institute's TikTok page proved that they are further improving their language skills. The teachers and volunteer students of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, who traveled to the Seyitjemaletdin monument—a masterpiece of construction art—expressed their great gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero Arkadag, and our Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the opportunities created to protect and introduce our national heritage to the world. For the students of the Faculty of Road Construction was held the field-training session

In the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, connecting theoretical lessons with production while students study at higher educational institutions is of great importance in preparing highly skilled specialists. In order to implement this task, оn March 28, 2026, teachers and students from the Faculty of Road Construction of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute held a field lesson at the construction site of the institute’s new building complex. During the field lesson, the students engaged in an exchange of ideas with relevant specialists from the “Ajaýyp-gurluşyk” private enterprise. The construction of our institute’s new building complex is not only a project executed by high-level construction organizations but also creates extensive opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in their respective fields. By participating in all stages of the construction, students became closely acquainted with the technology of the work carried out on-site, the characteristics of construction materials, and the professional work routines of the personnel. Such field-training sessions enhance students' practical skills and provide significant support in their professional development within the architecture and construction industry, as well as in fostering their engineering mindset.

Students of the Faculty of Road Construction are gaining valuable industrial experience

With the aim of connecting students' theoretical knowledge with production, on March 28, 2026, faculty staff and students from the Faculty of Road Construction of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute held a field-training session at the construction site of a Business Center which is currently under construction in the micro-district №8 of Ashgabat. The students became acquainted with the primary stages of construction - starting from the foundation - as well as the new materials used, engineering systems, and safety regulations. During the field-training session, the students engaged in a professional exchange of ideas with specialists on-site.

On April 1, 2026, the Department of "Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances" of the Faculty of Chemical Technology held an online scientific seminar titled "Improved Technologies for Processing Mineral Raw Material Resources of Turkmenistan: Foundations of the National Economic Strategy".

April 1, 2026, marked a day of historical and scientific significance for the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute (TSACI). The scientific seminar, organized by the Department of "Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances" of the Faculty of Chemical Technology, further strengthened the scientific foundation of the country's industrial future. Held in an online format, this seminar fully demonstrated the potential of the digital education system. Leading higher and secondary vocational schools from various regions of the country gathered on this scientific platform. During the seminar, compelling presentations related to the theme "Improved Technologies for Processing Mineral Raw Material Resources of Turkmenistan: Foundations of the National Economic Strategy" were delivered with the participation of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, the Institute of Engineering-Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan, Magtymguly Turkmen State University, and the Ashgabat Construction Vocational School. The event featured discussions on innovative methods for the maximum utilization of Turkmenistan's rich natural resources. Professors and lecturers from higher education institutions introduced advanced technologies not only for processing mineral raw materials but also for manufacturing high-added-value products competitive in the global market. This multifaceted collaboration helped build a strong link between science and industry, and between experienced professionals and young talents. The scientific seminar identified new strategic directions for utilizing Turkmenistan's mineral wealth, facilitated the sharing of the latest scientific findings and experiences in the technology of inorganic substances, and reached a new level of digital scientific information exchange between educational institutions. In conclusion, this scientific event, based on the principles of the economic strategy implemented under the wise leadership of our Honorable President, once again proved the leading role of TSACI in the country's industrial and scientific sectors.

In the 2025–2026 academic year, at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute was held a subject Olympiad among graduating students of the country's secondary schools

On April 2, 2026, the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute successfully held the first round of the subject Olympiad in “Physics”. The Olympiad is being conducted as part of the implementation of the priority tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, to modernize the national educational system and to raise a broad-minded, ambitious, and competitive generation capable of managing innovative technologies and possessing high scientific potential. Furthermore, the event aimed to fulfill the plans for the Concept of Developing the Digital Educational System and the Concept of Improving the Teaching of Natural and Exact Sciences in Turkmenistan. The Olympiad was held among graduating students of the country’s secondary schools. Students who achieved high results in this round have earned the right to participate in the second round of the competition.

The Department of “Technological Machines and Equipment” of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering held an online seminar titled “Types of Heavy-Layer Surfacing in Welding”

On March 31, 2026, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Independence of Turkmenistan and the opening of the new building complex of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, the department of “Technological Machines and Equipment” of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering held an online seminar on the topic “Types of Heavy-Layer Surfacing in Welding”. During the seminar, the main features of thick layer welding deposition, its industrial applications, technical requirements, and implementation methods were discussed in detail. During the presentations, information was provided on the implementation of innovative technologies and the operation of advanced equipment. Issues concerning surfacing quality, operational reliability, and production cost reduction were explained in detail based on practical case studies. Teachers from the Institute of Engineering-Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan actively participated in the online seminar. Participants asked relevant questions and shared their experiences. At the end of the seminar, the main conclusions were summarized, and proposals were put forward for further development of research in this field, experience exchange, and strengthening cooperation.

Digitalization and Innovation: A New Dimension of Economic Stability in Construction

A session was held at the "Economist in Construction" scientific circle of the "Economy and Management at Enterprises" department of the Faculty of Economics and Management on the topic: "Analyzing ways to develop the economic efficiency of technical and economic indicators of construction enterprises through a digitalization system". The main goal of the circle is to serve as a significant aid in the construction industry, not only in erecting buildings but also in educating students with a broad outlook, calculating estimates, and increasing economic competitiveness. The primary task of the "Economist in Construction" circle is to increase the profitability of the enterprise by reducing costs and introducing new technologies into production. The use of new materials (e.g., nanotechnology) in construction improves not only the quality of construction but also its long-term economic efficiency. This, in turn, provides an opportunity to save additional financial resources. In the circle, students are taught the implementation of digital systems in project planning and document management. This helps to save time, reduce errors related to the human factor, and maintain the stability of economic indicators. The economic growth of an enterprise depends on its capacity for innovation. By choosing an innovation strategy, an enterprise strengthens its position in the market and becomes attractive to investors. Within the "Economist in Construction" circle, work is carried out to harmonize innovative solutions and science-based management methods to achieve economic success in the construction sector, as well as to select various ways to maintain the financial stability of the enterprise.

THE CAPITAL’S NEW CULTURAL HUB AND STUDENT PRACTICUM

To provide cultural leisure for the residents and guests of Ashgabat, the "Döwlet gurluşyk" private enterprise is currently carrying out the rapid construction of a multi-purpose cultural center with a capacity of 4,000 seats. On March 28, 2026, a special field study session was organized at this construction site for 3rd-year students majoring in "Industrial and Civil Engineering" at the Faculty of Architecture and Construction. The main objectives of this event were: Integrating Theory with Practice: To observe and reinforce the knowledge students gained in the classroom within a real-world construction environment. Exchange of Experience: To become familiar with the working methods of specialists from the "Döwlet gurluşyk" private enterprise. Professional Mastery: To study the practical implementation of architectural and construction standards. The session, conducted under the guidance of experienced department lecturers Y. Atayev and M. Nuriyev, proved to be highly impactful and engaging for the students. The instructors provided detailed explanations regarding modern technologies and engineering solutions utilized in construction. Such lessons contribute significantly to the development of students into highly qualified professionals in their field and help ensure the quality and sustainability of newly constructed buildings.
