The Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute is a modern higher education institution established on May 25, 2012. It was founded on the basis of the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute, which was closed after its creation on September 1, 1963. Today, the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute serves as a contemporary scientific, design, and educational hub, training highly qualified specialists for various ministries and departments within Turkmenistan's construction and industrial complex.
The institute's infrastructure includes Training and Construction Center, a Turkmen-Indian Training and Production Center equipped with modern machinery, a museum, three dormitories, a canteen, and a stadium. Currently, the institute comprises 8 faculties and 28 departments, offering education to 4,630 students across 10 fields and 34 specializations, in line with contemporary demands. Bachelor's programs are available for 13 specializations within 7 fields. The institute prepares specialists for both state and private institutions and enterprises in Turkmenistan, graduating over 750 highly educated professionals annually.
The Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute fosters international cooperation in science and education with leading universities worldwide. Adhering to the "Concept for the Development of the Digital Education System in Turkmenistan," the institute trains specialists in 10 key areas:

In line with the "Implementation Plan for the Concept of Digital Education System Development in Turkmenistan," approved by a Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, the institute has established an internal local network. This network underpins the institute's Educational Portal, which provides electronic documents in specified formats, textbooks, teaching aids, audio and video recordings of general education, practical, and experimental classes conducted by faculty, as well as videos showcasing products from ministries and departments within the construction and industrial complex. By order of the Esteemed President of Turkmenistan, electronic document management has been introduced in all departments of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute.
The institute also operates a Faculty for Advanced Training, designed to enhance the qualifications of professionals working in Turkmenistan's construction and industrial sectors. The institute's robust material and technical base, combined with its highly qualified faculty, ensure the delivery of high-quality and modern education. Annually, students of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute undergo academic, design, constructive, industrial, and pre-diploma internships at departments and enterprises within Turkmenistan's Construction and Industrial Complex. To facilitate joint research, design, and experimental-design work, the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute has established basic departments at the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, various ministries, departmental institutions, and enterprises across Turkmenistan.
