There are 2 departments at the Faculty of Civil Defense. They are:
1. At the Department of “Civil Defense in Construction Works” the following specialties are taught:
Tasks of the specialties. The skilled specialists are trained to carry out organizational, administrative, design and construction work at a high level within institutions and enterprises under the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan. The specialists are suited for roles that require advanced education in civil defense within the architectural, industrial, and road construction sectors. Additionally, young specialists can pursue positions in scientific and production organizations, specialized research and development entities, educational institutions, joint foreign companies, consortiums, and areas where mineral raw materials are processed.
2. Specialty of the department "Safety of the chemical industry":
Tasks of the specialty. The specialist is trained to undertake high-level organizational, management, design, and construction duties within institutions and enterprises under the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan. These specialists are meant to work in institutions and enterprises in architectural, industrial, and road construction sectors, particularly in positions for highly educated experts in civil defense. Graduates can also hold positions in scientific and production, specialized research and development, interdisciplinary research and development organizations, educational institutions, joint foreign companies, consortiums, and areas dealing with mineral resource processing.
Currently, at the Faculty of Civil Defense works 4 teachers:
