Faculty of Economics and Management

The Faculty of Economics and Management of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute is aimed at training specialists and bachelors who are able to ensure sustainable economic growth, continue to implement market economy reforms that incorporate economic, social and environmentally friendly technologies, adapt to the digital economy, and bring the intellectual and social conditions of the population to the level of reliable world standards.
The faculty was created with the aim of training highly qualified engineers who will ensure diversification of the economy in terms of sectors and forms of ownership.
The Faculty of Economics and Management consists of: the dean, deputy dean for Academic Affairs, deputy dean for Scientific Affairs and deputy dean for Educational Affairs. There are  62 professors and teachers at the Faculty of Economics and Management,  1 of them is professor, 1 is associate professor, 3 are candidates of economic sciences, 1 is candidate of technical sciences, 21 are senior teachers, 25 are teachers, 14 are trainee-teachers. 


There are 4 departments at the faculty. These departments are: 

  • “Economics and Management at Enterprises”
  • “Real Estate Management”
  • “Higher Mathematics”
  • “Social Sciences”

The following specialties are taught at this faculty:

  • Economics and Management. Students in this field are trained in economics and analysis of the effectiveness of technical and economic indicators in enterprises, production, conducting a general economic analysis of all activities of the enterprise, and developing methods for the effective use of resources in order to fully utilize productive forces.
  • Economics and Management of the enterprise: In this direction, students receive training in determining the competitiveness of the goods, services, and work of the enterprise, in drawing up a planned calculation project for goods (services, work), their structural elements, an enterprise estimate, as well as the planned cost of goods and services of structural units.
  • Logistics: In this direction, students receive training in developing the basis for increasing the competitiveness of construction enterprises in logistics.
  • Real estate expertise and management: In this direction, students receive training in the practical application of the method of determining the cost of design and survey work in construction.

The faculty also offers education in the following areas based on the bachelor's program:

  1. Economics and management. (in industrial sector): In this direction, students receive training in economics and analyzing the effectiveness of technical and economic indicators in enterprises, production, conducting a general economic analysis of all activities of the enterprise, developing methods for the effective use of resources in order to fully utilize productive forces.
  2. Economics and Management of the Enterprise: (in industrial sector): students in this field receive training in determining the competitiveness of the enterprise's goods, services, and work, drawing up a planned calculation project for goods (services, work), their structural elements, an enterprise estimate, as well as a planned cost of goods and services of structural units.
  3. Economics and Organization of Manufacture (in industrial sector): students in this field receive training in organizing the modernization of production equipment and the production of new products, planning within the framework of the methodology, conducting research on labor indicators, and analyzing the results of production and economic activities at the enterprise and its structural units.
  4. Logistics (in industrial sector): students in this field receive training in transportation of manufactured building materials, mineral raw materials, and finished products, placing consumer goods on domestic markets, and achieving an increasing share of exports abroad.
  5. Real Estate Economics and Expertise (in industrial sector): students in this field are trained to identify the principles of business valuation in a market economy.

At the faculty of Economics and Management, students, along with theoretical knowledge, also receive production experience. The curricula are designed in accordance with modern requirements and include the knowledge and skills necessary in the construction and industrial sectors. This allows students to become highly qualified engineers-logists, engineers-construction experts and engineers-economists in their fields in the future.
