In 2025, in honor of the proclamation of the “International Year of Peace and Trust”, a scientific and practical seminar was held with the participation of teachers and students from the Faculty of Road Construction of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute. M. Kakabaeva, a lecturer from the department of “Geodesy”, delivered a report on the topic “Preparing Maps for Printing”, where she discussed geographical and topographic maps, their types, the components of maps, as well as the process of their creation. She introduced the students to methods of performing cartographic work, editing maps in cartographic research, and new technologies for creating electronic, digital, and computer maps.
The ongoing propaganda and educational activities contribute to the acquisition of modern education by the youth in our Independent and Neutral Turkmenistan. As a result, conditions are being created for students to carry out projects that meet the demands of modern times, continuing to enrich knowledge through such scientific and practical seminars.
