"Exhibition of 18th-19th Century Fine Arts: Students' and Teachers' Practical Training at the Saparmurat Turkmenbashi the Great Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan

The year 2025, declared the "Year of International Peace and Trust," has inspired the entire Turkmen nation, especially the happy youth, to work even harder and contribute worthily to the achievement of our Motherland’s glorious milestones.

Thanks to the great initiatives of Hero Arkadag and the worthy continuation of the path of our ancestors by Arkadagly Hero Serdar, the appearance of villages and cities has transformed beyond recognition. Our capital is becoming one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and the standard of living of our people is continuously improving through large-scale developments.

On March 25, 2025, second-year students majoring in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture and Construction, under the guidance of A. Ilmyradov, a lecturer at the Department of Architecture, conducted an off-site training session at the Saparmurat Turkmenbashi the Great Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan.

The museum hosted an exhibition dedicated to Russian painting from the late 18th to early 19th century, featuring works by renowned Russian artists as well as lesser-known authors who laid the foundation for the development of national painting traditions.

The exhibition highlights both European influences and the unique characteristics of Russian art. It is not only a journey through the history of painting but also a source of inspiration for young architects.

The Classicism and Romanticism eras are closely linked to architecture, so students explored the principles of symmetry, harmony, and national identity embedded in these artistic movements

As a result, this industrial training was highly beneficial for students, not only enhancing their academic knowledge but also allowing them to closely familiarize themselves with large-scale architectural projects in the country. The young students were deeply impressed by the experience, gaining new knowledge and practical skills in their professional field.
