A grand event dedicated to the International Nowruz Holiday was held at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute. The celebration was organized by the institute’s public organizations with the participation of professors, teachers, and students.
During the event, the history of Nowruz and the national traditions of the Turkmen people were presented, including the preparation of semeni, teaching young girls and women handicrafts, the art of Turkmen carpet weaving, and elders' storytelling about the values of the Turkmen people, the importance of love for the Motherland, and good neighborly relations. Another highlighted tradition was painting pictures that depict the awakening of nature.
As part of the proclaimed “International Year of Peace and Trust”, the institute’s musical ensemble performed songs about the beauty of nature and spring, symbolizing youth. These songs were based on the remarkable poetry of outstanding figures of Turkmen literature.
The festive event left a lasting impression on all participants.
