Confident Steps of Future Constructors

On May 16, 2025, an engaging and impactful field training session was held for first-year students of the “Industrial and Civil Engineering” speciality of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction. The session was organized under the guidance of experienced faculty member M.Nuryyev at the construction site of the new building complex of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, designed to accommodate 5,000 students, where construction is being actively carried out by the private company “Ajayyp Gurlushyk”.

During the field lesson, students not only reinforced their theoretical knowledge but also gained practical insight by exchanging ideas with the professionals from “Ajayyp Gurlushyk”  private company and observing real construction processes firsthand. The specialists provided detailed explanations about the stages of construction work, procedures, and technologies crucial for ensuring high-quality construction.

The students first explored the construction work being carried out in residential buildings (Blocks A and B) designated for  lecturers and faculty members. Here, they observed the tying of parapet reinforcements, the structure of internal partition walls, bricklaying, and concrete pouring processes, learning about their technical details in depth.

Additionally, the students became familiar with the construction and installation of the foundation insulation of the second technical building, which is designated for a greenhouse and a transformer. They received comprehensive information about the preparation stages, the properties of materials used, and the techniques applied.

Such field lessons are vital in integrating students’ theoretical education with hands-on experience. They significantly enhance young people’s abilities to think critically, find answers to emerging questions, and develop their engineering skills.
