With the implementation of innovative technologies in the construction sector of our country, special attention is being paid to the training of highly qualified engineers. In this context, undergoing industrial internships is a crucial step in the professional development of students from higher educational institutions, particularly those from road construction faculties.
One such internship currently taking place is the industrial training of students from the Faculty of Road Construction of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, held at the production units of the Turkmen Glass and Glass Products Factory.
Having familiarized themselves with the factory’s high-tech equipment, the students first learned about the process of manufacturing glass products, which are widely used in construction. During the training, they had the opportunity to participate directly in all stages—from raw material preparation to quality control of the finished products according to standards.
The students visited various sections of the factory, including assembly, thermal processing, cutting, steaming, and packaging. They also learned about the importance of following industrial safety regulations, maintaining work discipline, and ensuring technical oversight.
According to the students, such industrial practice helps reinforce the theoretical knowledge they have acquired, allows them to get acquainted with new technologies firsthand, and better prepares them to become successful engineers in the construction industry in the future.
The cooperation between the factory and the institute goes beyond just industrial training—in the future, it is planned to carry out joint scientific projects, training sessions and educational seminars.
This experience stands as yet another example of the successful integration of Turkmenistan’s educational and industrial policies.
