On May 10, 2025, a meeting was held in dormitory №3 of the Faculty of Computer Technologies and Automation at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute with female students on the topic of ancient Turkmen craftsmanship entitled “Alaja is one type of art”. In the era of Revival of the new epoch of a Powerful State, every day of the Turkmen people is marked by significant historical events that leave a vivid mark on the country's history. One such joyous event for Turkmen women was the donation to the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan of alaja woven by Ogulabat Eje and the tools for their making, which serves as an inspiring example for all women of Turkmenistan. In meetings with students, we regularly talk about the high artistic value of handmade items, carefully passed down from generation to generation. During these discussions, we provide detailed information about the specific weaving techniques of alaja and their historical significance.
