On April 30, 2025, in the year declared the “International Year of Peace and Trust” of the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the Powerful State, the teachers and students of the Department “Electrical Supply and Electromechanics” held an off-site practical lesson at the construction site of the new complex of buildings of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, which is being built by the private company “Ajayyp gurlushyk” of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. The students were given a detailed overview of the construction of the main building at the construction site of the new construction complex. The company's specialists explained in detail the various situations that may arise at a construction site, safety rules and measures taken to prevent and eliminate emergency situations. Further, the specialists explained how the construction of such structures begins, what work is being carried out at this stage of the construction site, and much more. During the on-site practical lesson, students received extensive information about the procedure and rules for grounding the electrical system in concrete pouring areas, became familiar with installation work and requirements for lighting systems, fire safety systems in high-rise buildings, and also showed how preparatory work is carried out for the placement of transformers. It was a rewarding and inspiring experience for the electrical engineering students. During the conversation with the company's specialists "Ajayyp gurlushyk" the students touched upon such topics as ecological construction, the application of the latest construction technologies, construction materials, and smart homes in modern construction.
