During the period of the Revival of the new era of the strong state, in our Fatherland, which is a land of health and spirituality, thanks to the efforts of our Honorable President and Heroic Arkadagh, a wide scope is being given to the development of highly effective sports, mass physical education and sports and health-improving movements, and the widespread implementation of the principles of health and inspiration at the state level.
The enthusiasm, great enthusiasm, and enthusiasm of public organizations, teachers of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, as well as students studying at the institute, for the international tournament on national and belt wrestling, held on April 22-25, 2025 at the Basha-Bash Martial Arts Sports Complex in the Olympic Village of Ashgabat, further enhanced the skill of our Turkmen athletes.
The national and belt “Alysh” wrestling, which has ancient historical roots, is one of the types that embodies the heroic spirit, courage, sports cooperation of the Turkmen people and friendly nations, the triumph of peace and friendship, and the Olympic movement. The participation of master athletes from 13 European and Asian countries in the international tournament on national and belt wrestling held at the Basha-Bash Martial Arts Sports Complex in the Olympic Village is a vivid example of this.
Our lucky Turkmen athletes won 12 gold medals, 10 silver medals and 6 bronze medals at the international tournament on national and belt wrestling held at the Basha-Bash Martial Arts Sports Complex in the Olympic Village.
