THE INTERCONNECTION OF TIMES AND CIVILIZATIONS – THE BASIS OF PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT

A meeting was held at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute to discuss the results of the international forum “The Interconnection of Times and Civilizations – the basis of Peace and Development”. The meeting was attended by the teachers and students of the institute. As is known, the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) has declared 2024 as the "Year of the Great Poet and Thinker of the Turkic World – Magtymguly Pyragy." In our country, 2024 is also designated as the "Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy." The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, proposed to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the great poet's birth at a high level and to promote his works, which have become a part of universal heritage.

Famous writers, poets, scholars, literati, artists, and cultural figures from Turkmenistan and abroad have dedicated numerous works to the great poet and created significant pieces. These works play an essential role in studying and disseminating the rich literary legacy of the master of words. The meeting emphasized that the creativity of Magtymguly Pyragy holds a secure place in the treasure trove of world civilization and highlighted his contribution to the development of the Turkmen language and literature. Participants also underscored the special importance of the poet's calls for unity, peace, and harmony.

At the international forum, effective collaborations were initiated across several directions, and bilateral meetings were held. Speakers noted the deep talent of Magtymguly Pyragy, who, in his works, unveiled the centuries-old wisdom of the Turkmen people and the beauty of poetic language, promoting spiritual values that resonate with every individual. It was emphasized that the reflections on a bright future, love for the homeland, humanism, and the aspiration for peace contained in the poet's verses align not only with the spiritual world of the Turkmen people but also with all of humanity. These ideas form the essence of Turkmenistan's neutral status and continue to be a source of wisdom, consistency, and significance for its diplomacy.

At the conclusion of the meeting, participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and the esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar for their contributions to enhancing the international prestige of our state.
