THE ANCIENT CULTURE OF ANAU – INVALUABLE HERITAGE OF HUMANITY

The announcement of Anau as the “Cultural Capital of the Turkic World” in 2024 has greatly pleased the Turkmen people, as it enhances friendly relations with countries that are members of TURKSOY. The city of Anau has deep historical roots. Our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar are doing significant work in educating the youth. This includes teaching and learning Turkmen national architecture, folk crafts, conducting in-depth scientific studies of the history of historical monuments, and increasing the knowledge and wisdom of our youth.

On October 15, 2024, a practical lesson was held at the Seyit-Jemaleddin mosque monument in the city of Anau in Ahal velayat with students of the “Architecture” department, led by senior lecturer G. Annageldiyeva, focusing on the disciplines “Drawing” “Color Painting and the Harmony of Colors in Architecture”. This lesson aligns with the themes outlined in the curriculum, such as “Perspective Image of a Building in Orthogonal Projection”, “Etudes of Archaeological or Urban Scenes”, and “Forming the Exterior Appearance of Buildings”.

The regular organization of such practical lessons aims to nurture students in the national spirit and guide them in creating modern and national works in harmony with historical monuments.
