In accordance with the objectives set forth by our Esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, to modernize and improve the nation’s science and education systems, to foster highly scientific, broad-minded, goal-oriented, patriotic, and inspired individuals capable of managing innovative and advanced global technologies, and to ensure the active participation of students in international and state-level subject Olympiads, as well as to implement the tasks outlined in the “Action Plan for the Implementation of the Concept of Improving the Teaching of Natural and Exact Sciences in Turkmenistan”, the I Internet Cartography Olympiad was held on December 17, 2025. This competition was organized by the “Geodesy” department of the Faculty of Road Construction at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute among students of the country's higher educational institutions.
105 students from 21 higher educational institutions across the country participated in this subject Olympiad, and several of them earned top honors and prizes.
Organizing such competitions among students is a vital component of the state policy. It serves as a foundation for enhancing the quality of education, empowering youth to master modern computer systems and interactive multimedia technologies, and preparing highly skilled professionals for the future.
