On April 14, 2025, awareness-raising and educational advocacy activities were conducted among male students living in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd dormitories of the institute, with the participation of representatives from social organizations.
During the event, students were informed in detail about the requirements arising from the Regulation “On Dormitories of Higher and Secondary Vocational Educational Institutions of Turkmenistan”, approved by Order No. 86 of the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan dated March 13, 2015. The emphasis was on strictly observing order and discipline in dormitories, maintaining cleanliness and comfort, preparing for classes independently, and following hygiene rules in public and utility areas (such as common rooms, dining halls, restrooms, storage rooms, laundry drying rooms, refrigerators – avoiding storing expired food, etc.). Students were also reminded about the proper use of electrical appliances in dormitories (not keeping mobile phones and computers plugged in continuously, avoiding negligence-related faults, not using kettles with spiral heaters, etc.), strictly observing fire safety and traffic rules (using overpasses and underpasses), conserving water, and keeping the surroundings of the dormitories clean. These were explained through detailed examples as part of the educational session.
