On January 21, 2026, faculty staff and students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute visited the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan.
During the tour, the students gained detailed insights into the world-renowned Turkmen carpets and carpet products, created by the miraculous skill of Turkmen women, which have preserved their immense value through the centuries. Furthermore, they closely explored historical artifacts, cultural treasures dating back to antiquity, and intricately crafted handmade works.
In this year, titled “Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses” extensive work is being carried out to preserve the handcrafts inherited from our ancestors and pass them on to future generations. The excursion to the State Museum left a profound impression on the students, further strengthening their sense of pride in our glorious past and rich history.
