On April 9, 2025, teachers and students of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty conducted a practical work experience at the “Baherden” ceramic products manufacturing enterprise, located in the Baherden etrap of the Ahal velayat. During the practical work experience, teachers and students, together with specialists from the enterprise, familiarized themselves with the installed equipment. Currently, modern socio-cultural facilities, large industrial complexes, and new villages and cities are being actively constructed and put into operation throughout the country. The new plant, capable of producing 3.3 million square meters of ceramic tiles and 120,000 units of sanitary ware per year, plays a significant role in the implementation of current construction projects and in providing the population with high-quality building materials. The use of modern equipment from world leaders at the enterprise ensures high-quality work and the production of goods that completely meet international standards, thanks to the application of the latest innovative technologies. Teachers and students familiarized themselves with the latest equipment from the Italian company “SACMI” installed at the enterprise, and also received theoretical and practical information on the automated implementation of production processes. They observed how high-tech equipment automatically monitors the physicochemical properties of finished products, such as weight, humidity, water absorption, hardness, and gloss. Furthermore, the students learned about the operation of robotic transport systems and automatic conveyor lines in all production workshops, and also thoroughly studied the equipment of the “Baherden” ceramic products manufacturing enterprise, built in accordance with the “Industry 4.0” concept. This enabled students to identify specific tasks for an in-depth study of automation in the context of the widespread adoption of information technologies and artificial intelligence in all fields. At the conclusion of the practical work experience, the participants expressed their deep gratitude to our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the opportunities provided.
