To honor and celebrate the “Galkynysh” national equestrian group's outstanding success at the International Circus Arts Festival in Monte Carlo during the Year of International Peace and Trust of the period of Revival of the new era of the Powerful State, the Student Sports Club and the Trade Union of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute organized interfaculty chess and checkers competitions among the institute's professors and teachers. These competitions were held on the National Day of the Turkmen Horse.
The sporting events were vibrant, festive, and highly competitive, and results in the Chess were as follows:
1st Place: Nuraly Nepesov, a teacher of the “Applied Mechanics” department of the Mechanical-engineering faculty;
2nd Place: Jumageldi Alimov, an associate professor of the “Higher Mathematics” department of the Faculty of Economics and Management;
3rd Place: Dovlet Sapardurdyev, assistant to the head of the department “Civil Defense of Construction” of the Faculty of Civil Defense;
Results in Checkers:
1st Place: Dovlet Sapardurdyev, assistant to the head of the department “Civil Defense of Construction” of the Faculty of Civil Defense;
2nd Place: Kadyr Seyitnyazov, a senior teacher of the Department of “Social Sciences” of the Economics and Management Faculty;
3rd Place: Ovezgeldi Gurbanov, a senior lecturer at the Department of “Physical Education” of the Faculty of Chemical Technology.
These sports events are a clear testimony to the work being done in our country under the leadership of our esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar to ensure that citizens are physically and mentally healthy, educated and knowledgeable.
