The material and technical base of our Armed Forces is being strengthened day by day. At the same time, new projects in the field of architecture and construction are being implemented in the country. One of the important current tasks is to ensure the long-term service of buildings and structures under construction, as well as the design protection of the population from possible natural and man-made phenomena. At the same time, the country is successfully working to train highly educated specialists in this field.

Based on this, cadets of the Civil defense faculty opened at the Turkmen state Architecture and Construction institute took part in comprehensive training courses organized by the Main Directorate of Civil Defense and Rescue Services of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan. The cadets took part in a complex training exercise entitled “Establishing joint actions of ministries and departments, local executive authorities to reduce damage caused by natural and man-made disasters” and thoroughly mastered the main tasks of the general state event.

The cadets who took part in the comprehensive training mastered in practice the rules and procedures for informing the relevant authorities, civil defense and emergency services, other relevant institutions and enterprises through the civil defense and emergency communications service and information about a military incident, the creation of an emergency management center by officials, expanding the work of civil defense and simultaneously raising awareness in chemically hazardous institutions and enterprises.

During the comprehensive exercise, the victims of the earthquake, which are some seismically unstable houses located within the settlements, along with the rescue work of people affected by damage to their buildings, are certified and provided with first aid in healthcare institutions, and taking into account the situation, an organized evacuation group informs them of the need to go to organized evacuation points using loudspeakers in traffic control vehicles to evacuate the population.

Organized evacuation points are urgently prepared, the population is registered at the collection point and is settled in an organized manner in a temporary tent city in a safe zone, the first living conditions are created. These integrated training exercises have literally provided an opportunity for cadets to put into practice the knowledge they have learned in theory.
