With the aim of implementing the key tasks assigned to us by our Esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, to modernize the country's science and education system, to educate youth with a broad worldview, strong scientific potential, professional competence, and the ability to manage innovative technologies, as well as to carry out the Action Plans for the implementation of the Concepts for developing Turkmenistan’s digital education system and improving the teaching of natural and technical sciences, and to foster in young people a spirit of determination and ensure independent quality control of education, as well as on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality, on December 8, 2025 the department of “Electrotechnics” of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute organized a subject Olympiad in “Electrotechnics” among students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan.
Students from 18 universities of the country participated in the Olympiad. The Olympiad was held in a mixed format: students from universities in Ashgabat and Arkadag participated in person (on-site), while representatives of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, and the Turkmen Institute of Sea and River Transport participated remotely (online) via a digital system. The Olympiad took place in a highly intense and competitive atmosphere.
