In the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, and in the International Year of Peace and Trust, under the leadership of Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, international conferences, forums, and meetings are being held to further improve the science and education system in our country. Following the agreement of the 2025 Work Plan for the European Union's “Horizon Europe” research and innovation program, a video conference was held. The event saw the participation of representatives from our country's higher education institutions, alongside researchers and innovators representing various public and private sector organizations from Central Asia, European Union member states, and countries associated with “Horizon Europe”.

Professors-teachers, and students of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute actively participated in this conference. Organized by the European Union's Global Facility, the conference introduced “Horizon Europe”, the EU's key funding program for research and innovation. In addition to demonstrating additional funding opportunities across various research areas, special attention was paid to the upcoming Horizon Europe Work Programs for 2026-2027, which focus on specific themes regarding Critical Raw Materials (CRM). The conference also discussed Digital Networking sessions, which offer a valuable platform for dialogue, mutual exchange of experience, and establishing partnerships for future Horizon Europe project consortia.

This conference will pave a broad way for strengthening cooperation in research and innovation between the European Union and Central Asian countries in the future. The professors-teachers, and students of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute became closely acquainted with the “Horizon Europe” program and received answers to their questions regarding the exchange of international experience in this field.
