On November 27, 2025, the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI) organized an online webinar titled “Empowering Teachers: Unlocking the Power of Generative AI in Teaching and Learning”. Dr. Kaushal Kumar Bhagat was the keynote speaker at the webinar. Dr. Bhagat is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Educational Technology (India) and Vice-Chair of the Centre for Learning and Virtual Improvement. He holds a PhD. Dr. Kaushal Kumar Bhagat delivered an impressive presentation with concrete examples on practical insights for teachers regarding the use of AI in various fields, effectively integrating Generative AI (GenAI) into classrooms, and using AI for innovative lesson planning, assessment design, personalized learning, and creative content development.
Professors, teachers, students, and specialists from various fields from higher education institutions in Turkmenistan and around the world participated in this online webinar. Teachers from the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute also actively participated in the event. They received answers to their questions regarding digital innovative technologies in AI, international experience in using artificial intelligence, and the implementation of AI in the science, education, and industrial sectors.
