An advocacy meeting was held on the theme “Preventing HIV/AIDS and STDs: A Core Strategy for Maintaining a Healthy Family”

On November 24, 2025, the “Building Materials” department organized an advocacy meeting for students of the Road Construction Faculty at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, in accordance with the “Action plan of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute to promote the valuable works of our Esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, which reflect the achievements in the healthcare system, as well as are devoted to human health and advocate healthy lifestyles”.

Maral Allabaeva, epidemiologist from the Sanitary and Disease Prevention Service, and Maysa Yalkapova, Head of the Prevention Department of the National AIDS Prevention Center under the Directorate of Infectious Diseases, as well as Jennet Atayeva, the deputy head of the “Building Materials” department attended the meeting and provided students with detailed information about human health.  

In their speeches, the guests spoke about hepatitis, acute respiratory diseases, as well as the prevention of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases. The advocacy meeting not only encouraged our student youth to adopt a healthy lifestyle and a responsible approach to their health, but also highlighted the importance of the progressive reforms underway in the country's healthcare system.

The conference concluded with broad discussions on enhancing preventative strategies in the national healthcare system, assessing the effectiveness of public health protection efforts, and focusing on preventing infectious diseases.
