Based on the wonderful opportunities created by our esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, sports competitions among young students at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute are gaining widespread popularity. Taking this as a guide, a “Checkers” sports competition was held for students of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, organized by the Institute's Student Sports Club and the Department of Physical Education, to mark the glorious 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent Neutrality. The lecturers of the “Physical Education” Department were the juries at the competition. The sports competition was highly contested. The active participation of young students from the Institute's faculties in this sports event contributed to the comprehensive development of the students, their pleasant and beneficial leisure time, and helped them achieve high results in both studies and sports.
According to the results of the checkers sports competition, the students of the Civil Defense Faculty won I place, the students of the Computer Technology and Automation Faculty won II place, and the students of the Architecture and Construction Faculty won III place. The winners were awarded Certificates of Honor and commemorative gifts.
This sports competition is a result of the immense attention paid to physical education and sports at our institute. Today, the students of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute are also proving their enthusiasm for various types of sports.
