The Department of Power Supply and Electromechanics of the Faculty of Engineering Mechanics introduced students to a new project titled “Gas Turbine Compact Power Plant” as part of the scientific club “Young Power Engineer”, aimed at improving the ongoing scientific research. In the electric power industry of Turkmenistan and in human life, the generation and use of electric energy remain among the key issues. From this point of view, the “Gas Turbine Compact Power Plant” project, which occupies less space compared to other power plants, represents one of the important steps toward constructing modern and smart power stations that meet the requirements of the new era.

Even in developed countries, the energy sector faces the urgent problem that power plants cannot always provide electricity when it is most needed. Our project is designed to temporarily supply electricity promptly when demand suddenly increases.

Moreover, we propose modern technology to ensure safe, uninterrupted, and efficient power supply to nearby areas where the power plant is built.
This project ensures a high level of electrical safety for the local population. Power transmission is carried out through underground cable lines, and 35 kV and 10 kV distribution devices are installed in enclosed systems. The external design of the power plant is built in accordance with the architectural and construction standards of the local area.
