The great philosopher of the world, Magtymguly Pyragy, clearly defined the role of women in society in his precious lines, saying:
The word of the world will seem like a treat with no salt,
If there is no mention of ladies in your talk.
By this, he compares women to the adornment and meaning of the world, the beauty of Earth. Even today, women illuminate our hearts as a light of life, prosperity, harmony, and perfection. The Turkmen family gives special attention to preserving spiritual and moral values and raising future generations with national spirit. The family’s reputation, fortune, and dignity largely depend on women.
That is why women play a special role in strengthening the foundation of the family and in the proper upbringing of the next generation. A family’s honor is directly related to the moral purity of its women. Thus, the Turkmen woman's essence is the purity of Turkmen morality.
