On October 11, 2025, the faculty staff of the Road Construction Faculty of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute held an outreach educational seminar at the Ashgabat Construction Secondary Professional School on the topic: “The Importance of Earthquake-Resistant Construction”.
During the seminar, students were provided with detailed information on the physical nature of earthquakes, their impact on construction structures, engineering solutions including seismic calculations, specific foundation designs, lightweight and durable structures, seismological monitoring, and methods of recording earthquakes.
Such awareness-raising and motivational events contribute to ensuring that students in Independent and Neutral Turkmenistan receive a modern education. As a result, these seminars help supplement existing knowledge and prepare students to carry out projects that meet the demands of the current era.
