On October 1, 2025, the teachers of the “Automation of Production” Department of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty and the students of the specialty “Automation of Production and Technological Processes” held a field training session at the new building complex of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, which is currently under construction.
At present, marble cladding works are underway in several buildings, while sanitary, electrical, and other internal finishing works are being actively carried out in others. The students received detailed information about the correct installation of information-communication systems, electrical wiring, water supply, and air exchange systems within the building. They also studied how different construction works are interconnected to ensure that all equipment inside the building functions automatically through a digital system from the very beginning.
Managing these construction processes from the first steps requires the integration of engineering ideas. The new building of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, equipped with modern technologies, will include laboratories for various engineering fields, including robotics, manipulators, mechatronics, radio electronics, and processes controlled by programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Therefore, the proper installation of information-communication, electrical, and security systems is one of the key elements in the construction of the institute.
