The participation of Turkmen athletes in major international competitions is a clear recognition of the achievements of our country’s sports on the world stage, as well as of the sports policy pursued by Estemeed President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
From September 10 to 16, 2025, in the city of Athens, Hellenic Republic, at the international competition “Balkan Open Championship 2025” in the sport of jiu-jitsu wrestling, Amanmyradov Annagurt, the 2nd-year bachelor student of the direction of preparation in “Cartography and Geoinformatics” at the Faculty of Road Construction of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, was awarded the honorable III place.
