An athlete of the Turkmenistan national karate-do team, the 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Road Construction of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, Garamammet Garamammedov, took part in the Asian Karate-do Championship among youths, juniors, and athletes under 21 years old, held from September 5 to 7, 2025, in the city of Shaoguan (People’s Republic of China), and won III place in the weight category up to 60 kg.
