The participation of Turkmen athletes in major international competitions is a vivid testament to the achievements of our country’s sports on the global stage, as well as clear evidence of the sports policy pursued by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
Selbi Burhanova, the 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Road Construction at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, majoring in “Cartography and Geoinformatics,” took part in the Championship of Turkmenistan in judo among women in the 52 kg weight category, held during the summer holidays from July 25 to 27, 2025, and won 3rd place.
