In the Revival Era of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, with the participation of our Honorable President, a 60 meter high monument of the great Eastern thinker Magtymguly Pyragy and a cultural park complex were inaugurated in the southern part of our marble-white capital. This site has become a center of inspiration, creativity, and cultured leisure.
During the ongoing summer vacation, the military cadets of the Civil Defense Faculty of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction visited the “Magtymguly Pyragy” cultural park complex. There, at the foot of the mountains, they explored the legacy of Magtymguly Pyragy—the great son of the Turkmen people—and observed the statues of master artists who left an indelible mark on the world of art through works that praise universal human values.
The cadets felt uplifted and inspired by their visit to this park of friendship. The works of world philosophers and poets featured in the Friendship Park touch on military-political, philosophical, scientific, peaceful, and patriotic themes. Our national literary figures, who have enriched world literature with their unique, national, and folk-inspired creations, bear witness to this truth. In the cultural leisure area, the military cadets recited poems by the great thinker that express desires for a strong state, an independent country, unity among our people, a peaceful and prosperous life, and the friendship of nations.
Magtymguly Pyragy represents a unique world. His poems strongly convey the spirit of patriotism, friendship, and unity reflective of his time. The value of an independent homeland as the most precious wealth of a person is clearly reflected in the poet’s works.
The cadets, who participated in the cultural visit, showed deep interest in the creative heritage of Magtymguly Pyragy, who dedicated his entire life to saving the nation and its people. They once again saw that patriotism, peace, and brotherhood are major themes in his work, and that national values are held in high regard. In the truest sense, the cultural excursion to the Magtymguly Cultural Park left a profound impression on the military cadets.
