During the era of Revival of the new epoch of the Powerful State, our country is developing and improving day by day. On March 12, 2025, in the “Year of International Peace and Trust”, our esteemed President took part in the opening ceremony of the new plant for the production of ceramic products “Baherden”, located in the Baherden etrap of the Ahal velayat. This modern plant, whose capacity is designed to produce 3 million 300 thousand square meters of ceramic decorative tiles and 120 thousand sanitary ware per year, is equipped with the latest equipment from the world's leading manufacturers.
The construction of new industrial facilities equipped with advanced technologies, using local raw materials and producing products that meet international standards, is becoming an integral part of our economic strategy. Such products are in demand both in the domestic and foreign markets.
On April 22, 2025, teachers and students of the Faculty of Road Construction of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute conducted a practical work experience at the Baherden Ceramic Products Plant. During the practical work experience, the plant's specialists told the students about the process of organizing activities at a large manufacturing enterprise, the raw materials used to manufacture ceramic materials and modern technologies for the production of ceramic products.
The students also got acquaintance with the various stages of production. Such practical work experiences organized by teachers have become an important part of the educational process.
