A PRACTICAL LESSON

On October 4, 2024, a practical lesson was held at the specialized secondary school №2 for English language education in the city of Arkadag, organized by the faculty and students of the Department of Architecture at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction institute.

During this lesson, the instructors introduced the students to architectural art, methods for integrating national motifs into architecture, and the role of digital technologies. The lesson was organized to continue the pedagogical tradition of Hero Arkadag and to assist the youth in choosing their future profession.

During the lesson, students captured images of patterns characteristic of Turkmen women's carpets and made drawings both on paper and in AutoCAD with accurate measurements. The students shared interesting information about modern computer programs and their purposes. Various pattern models were created in a 3D program during the lesson.

The students were introduced to several projects for a carpet factory planned to be built in Arkadag, prepared by the faculty and students of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction institute. We are confident that the practical lesson will spark significant interest and enthusiasm for studying architecture among the students. We expect that not only the students but also the pupils themselves will be able to effectively utilize their abilities and provide their suggestions.
