STUDENT OF THE TURKMEN STATE OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION INSTITUTE WINS A PRIZE AT THE VI INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIAD ON FINANCIAL SECURITY

Begnazar Begnazarov, a fourth-year student in the Department of Computer Technologies and Systems at the Faculty of Computer Technologies and Automation of the Turkmen State of Architecture and Construction Institute, won second place in the Information Security category at the final stage of the VI International Olympiad on Financial Security.

The final stage of the intellectual competition took place from 27 September to 3 October 2026 at Siberian Federal University in Krasnoyarsk, Russian Federation. It brought together approximately 700 school and university students from 45 countries, providing an international platform for exchanging knowledge, developing professional competencies and strengthening cooperation in financial security.

This year, the Olympiad focused on the use of artificial intelligence to ensure financial security and the risks associated with its application. Particular attention was paid to modern digital threats, information protection and combating financial fraud. These issues are becoming increasingly important as digital technologies develop, requiring the training of specialists capable of addressing complex interdisciplinary challenges.

Turkmenistan was represented in the final stage by students from the country’s higher education institutions. Begnazar Begnazarov made a valuable contribution to this result through his successful performance in the Information Security category.

The programme for the final week included more than one hundred educational, professional, cultural and sporting events. Masterclasses, panel discussions and meetings with experts and representatives of relevant organisations were arranged for the participants. This programme enabled young people to broaden their understanding of contemporary financial security challenges, learn from specialists’ practical experience and establish connections with their peers from different countries.

The achievement of the student of the Turkmen State of Architecture and Construction Institute is a significant result of his preparation and commitment to professional development. Participation in international intellectual competitions helps future specialists deepen their knowledge, strengthen their analytical thinking and gain experience in addressing current information security challenges.
