The Faculty of Civil Defense of the Turkmen State of Architecture and Construction Institute hosted a solemn musical conference and exhibition titled "The War Years Shall Never Be Forgotten: The Heroic Path of Our Ancestors as a Model of Courage", commemorating the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945.
Opening the conference, Meylis Babayev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, emphasized the large-scale reforms implemented in the country under the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and the Honorable Supreme Commander-in-Chief. Special tribute was paid to the valor of Turkmenistan’s soldiers, specifically the outstanding educator and brave soldier Berdimuhamed Annayev. The Vice-Rector also highlighted the exemplary life of Malikguly Berdimuhamedov, an honored veteran of the internal affairs service, whose childhood was shaped by the hardships of war and whose life remains a testament to profound patriotism.
In their addresses, Amangeldi Orazov, a senior lecturer and Honored Elder of Turkmenistan, along with faculty members and cadets, underscored the distinguished contribution of Turkmen soldiers who fought alongside other nations to defeat the enemy and secure the historic victory.
As part of the event, a cultural excursion was organized for the cadets to the "Halk Hakydasy" (People’s Memory) Memorial Complex and the "Watan Mukaddesligi" (Sanctity of the Motherland) Museum. Furthermore, an exhibition featuring the cadets’ scientific and research projects made a lasting impression on the attendees.
This ceremony serves as a clear testament to the successful military reforms and the extensive work being carried out under the leadership of the Honorable Supreme Commander-in-Chief to foster spiritual and moral values, healthy lifestyle principles, and the ideals of patriotism and humanism among the defenders of the Motherland.
The event featured performances by the institute’s "Bagtyyarlyk Binasy" musical ensemble, followed by specialized sessions of the scientific-practical conference.
