On February 20-22, 2026, at the Ashgabat Championship among adults in the arm-wrestling athletics sport, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Chemical Technology at the Turkmen state architecture and construction institute, Geldimyradow Saparmyrat won a gold medal, taking 1st place.
