On October 24, 2025, the teachers of the Department of “Technological Machines and Equipment” of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, together with fourth-year students of the specialty “Lifting, Transporting, Construction and Road Machines and Equipment”, conducted a field training lesson in the new building complex of the institute.
During the field training lesson, they got acquainted with the construction works carried out in the new building complex, the stages of the construction process, and the importance of the machinery used in these works. The teachers provided detailed information to the students about the structure of widely used lifting and transporting machines in construction, their different types, and principles of operation.
In addition, the students learned about the features of motor graders used in earthworks, the significance of soil compacting rollers in road construction, and the role of concrete mixers in the building process. They also gained a general understanding of loading-unloading machines, as well as tower and mobile cranes, which are extensively used in construction.
The field training session not only provided new knowledge but also strengthened the students’ interest in their future profession. Through their lecturer’s explanations, they were able to observe how theoretical knowledge is applied in practice. This experience plays an important role in shaping their professional skills and preparing them to become competent specialists in the future.
