Thanks to the tireless efforts of our Esteemed President during the era of the Revival of a new epoch of the Powerful State, based on the efforts to improve the national educational system and to educate highly qualified, broad-minded, purposeful youth with high scientific potential and the ability to master innovative technologies, a field lesson was conducted on October 9, 2025, at Secondary School No. 116 of Ashgabat with the participation of teachers from the Faculty of Road Construction of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute.
Teachers from the “Geodesy” department gave an extensive presentation about the characteristics and types of cartographic images, the rules for performing cartographic work, the specifics of map editing, various cartographic calculations, and methods of using modern technologies to automate the cartographic production process. They also explained the role of cartography in the national economy and its interconnection with other sciences.
