On October 3, 2025, a special field study was held at the museum of the Institute of History and Ethnography of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. Students and teachers examined medieval historical artifacts, building fragments, and valuable monuments, seeing them firsthand and learning about their historical significance. This session went beyond ordinary learning: it revealed the secrets of the past and inspired the younger generation to take an interest in cultural heritage.
The field study was also attended by the professors and students of the Department of Architecture of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction at the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction. They explored the museum exhibits with great interest, had the opportunity to touch them, and took photographs. The captured moments were not only memorable but also symbolized the historical atmosphere and the spirit of the Middle Ages as experienced by the students.
Participating students included Orazgylyjowa Ogulmaral, Annageldiyew Didar, and Kesikow Kerim. Under the guidance of experienced teachers – Meryem Bekmurzayewa, Gaygysyzcary Dolyyew, and Orazjemal Atayewa – the unique features of the historical exhibits were explained in detail, including their time of creation, purpose, and historical value. These explanations and demonstrations inspired the students to study history and explore the richness of the past.
The field study provided the younger generation with a creative experience in learning history, increased their interest in cultural heritage, and allowed them to feel the atmosphere of past eras. For each participant, these moments became unforgettable, inspiring, and educational.
