On March 20, 2025, a “round table” discussion took place at the conference hall of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute to mark the historic speech delivered by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, at the international conference titled “Year of International Peace and Trust: the Role of Interregional Economic Cooperation in Ensuring Sustainable Development”. The event was recorded by the “Ashgabat” TV channel. At the conference Amangeldi Orazov, senior lecturer in the “Drawing and Strength of Materials” department and Honored Elder of Turkmenistan, Babajan Bekmurzayev, senior lecturer in the “Automation of Production” department and Head of the Council of Young Scientists, Ogulbagt Orazudurdyeva, senior lecturer in the “Industrial Ecology” department, Ahmet Akmuhammedov, lecturer in the “Technological Machines and Equipment” department and Amanmyrat Atayev, the 4th-year student in the specialty of "Manufacture of Building Materials, Products and Structures" at the Faculty of Road Construction.
As it was noted, Turkmenistan, possessing substantial energy resources, plays a pivotal role in regional energy cooperation, particularly in electricity trade. Its robust energy production enables it to reliably supply domestic needs and consistently increase exports to neighboring nations like Iran, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. The Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan (TAP) power project was highlighted as a transformative initiative. This “energy bridge” aims to establish a new phase of energy collaboration with Afghanistan and South Asian countries, promoting regional peace, stability, and significant economic growth.
The initiatives of the esteemed President, aimed at strengthening peace and trust in the world, have received broad support from the international community. This indicates that the initiatives of the National Leader have been recognized at the international level and further strengthens the position of our Motherland in the world arena.
At the end of the “round table” discussions, the participants congratulated all our compatriots on the National Spring Holiday and expressed their gratitude to our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
