Students of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute master Geodesy in practice

Thanks to the great attention paid by the President of Turkmenistan to the sphere of science and education, a practice of combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills is actively developing in the country's universities. As part of this approach, students from the Faculty of Road Construction at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute successfully completed their educational and practical training in geodesy at the “Gok gushak” field, where they were able to apply their knowledge in practice.
This training allowed the students to master the fundamentals of geodesy and engineering and geodetic work. They learned to operate modern measuring equipment and took direct part in creating topographical maps and determining the heights and coordinates of various construction sites.
During the field sessions, the students underwent an in-depth training course on using modern geodetic equipment, including Leica devices. They had the opportunity to independently complete all stages of measurements and process the data they collected. In addition, the training placed special emphasis on teamwork with instructors and the development of key engineering skills, such as teamwork and effective communication.
