On July 6, 2025, the international judo tournament “Asia Cup – 2025” was held in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan. The competition brought together athletes from various Asian countries and was held in a highly competitive atmosphere. Representing Turkmenistan, Aghajan Ayykhanov, a second-year student at the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction (TSIAC), took part in the event. Competing in the under-81 kg weight category, he demonstrated strong performance and represented his university and country with honor. By standing out among strong opponents, Aghajan Ayykhanov earned second place and was awarded the silver medal. This victory reflects the growing support for youth sports in Turkmenistan and the effective physical education programs being implemented in higher education institutions. The Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction not only trains highly qualified specialists in the fields of construction, engineering, and architecture but also places great emphasis on the all-round development of its students — including achievements in sports.
