On June 23, 2025, to mark “International Olympic Day”, the Turkmen State Institute of Sports and Physical Education hosted track and field competitions for university students. These games were a collaborative effort between the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports and the International Olympic Committee, held during the “International Year of Peace and Trust” of the period of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State.
In the 800-meter track and field event, Ogulmaysa Shageldiyeva, the first-year student from the Computer Technology and Automation Faculty at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, secured I place. Salina Bagtyyarova, the fourth-year student from the Chemical Technology Faculty, earned III place. Both were recognized with letters of honor and commemorative gifts for their achievements.
