The United Nations General Assembly recognized March 22 as World Water Day. On March 17, 2025, a scientific-practical conference called "International Water Day" was held in the conference hall of the institute on the occasion of the international ecological calendar organized by the department of "Industrial Ecology" of the Faculty of Chemical Technology of the Turkmen State of Architecture and Construction Institute. Current issues related to water were discussed during the conference. Water is considered the source of life. Water is used in all sectors of human economic activity, including the national economy.
With increasing consumerism, water scarcity and pollution have become one of the major environmental problems of today. Innovative methods of water purification and saving were discussed during the meeting. Solving the water problem is also the main task of our state policy. At the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag and under the wise leadership of our esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, great efforts have been made to provide our people with still water. A number of drinking water treatment plants were built and put into operation.
At the end of the conference, the participants expressed gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, as well as the esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar for creating conditions for the implementation of economic development based on green technologies during the era of Revival of the new epoch of the Powerful State, in the year of "International Peace and Trust".
