On-site industrial training

On May 29, 2025, an industrial training session was held for 4th-year students specializing in “Water supply, wastewater disposal, and water resources protection.” The session took place at the construction site of the new building of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, which is being built by the private company “Ajap-gurlushyk” along Gorogly Avenue in Ashgabat. The facility is designed to accommodate 5,000 people. The training session was organized under the supervision of our department’s senior lecturer, Gurbansoltan Myradova. During the visit, students familiarized themselves with the construction technologies of the main and academic buildings, the installation of external networks of cold and hot water supply systems via gallery routes, their distribution, and the relevant design solutions. Additionally, they received detailed information about the installation and setup of internal water supply and wastewater disposal systems. Their theoretical knowledge gained in the course “Engineering Systems of Buildings,” particularly the topic “Internal Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal Systems in Buildings of Various Purposes,” was effectively linked with real-life construction and industrial processes. Students also engaged in discussions with construction workers in a Q&A format, which helped deepen their professional knowledge and experience. We believe that the information gained during this industrial training session will significantly support the students in completing their annual and diploma projects.
